As an ensemble singer, Edward has worked with numerous distinguished groups. He is a full-time member of Chamber Choir Ireland and regularly sings with The Marian Consort. He often appears with other ensembles, including:

Vox Luminis, Theatre of Voices, La Nuova Musica, ORA Singers, Ars Nova Copenhagen, Opus Anglicanum,

Ensemble Pro Victoria,

Sansara, echo vocal ensemble, Mogens Dahl Kammerkor, Armonico Consort and

The Philharmonia Chorus (Professional Singers scheme). Until recently, Edward was a lay clerk at Southwark Cathedral.

Edward has sung in numerous CD recordings, including substantial solo contributions in the Eton Choirbook series while at Christ Church, Oxford. He also has much experience of singing in commercial recordings for use in film, television and audio, including: Netflix, Apple TV, Abbey Road Studios, Clockwork Sessions and Young Films.

Edward has worked in church and cathedral choirs for much of his life. As a chorister, Edward sang in the choir of St. Peter’s Church, Brighton. Following this, he was a choral scholar at Portsmouth Cathedral and a choral scholar, then lay vicar, at Exeter Cathedral; these roles were combined with his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in History. Following this, Edward was a lay clerk at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford.

Edward has deputised extensively in church choirs, including: Westminster Cathedral Choir; The Choir of Westminster Abbey; St. Paul’s Cathedral Choir; The London Oratory; The Temple Church; St. James’ Spanish Place; Hampstead Parish Church; Chapel Royal, HM Tower of London; All Saints Margaret Street; St James Garlickhythe; St. Peter’s Eaton Square; St. Bride’s Fleet Street; St. Bartholomew the Great; Holy Trinity Sloane Square; Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Maiden Lane; St. Paul’s Knightsbridge; Guards Chapel and New College, Oxford.

Edward’s previous singing teachers include Ashley Stafford, Bronwen Mills, William Purefoy, Daniel Norman and Alastair Brookshaw. He has been coached by Nicholas Mulroy, David Rendall, Ian Partridge, Benjamin Hulett, Liz Marcus and Oliver John Ruthven. He currently studies with Arwel Treharne Morgan.
