Edward Woodhouse is a freelance tenor based in London.

Edward is in regular demand as a soloist, and has appeared with the Dunedin Consort, Irish Baroque Orchestra, the Baroquestock Festival and with numerous cathedral choirs and choral societies. Edward has performed as a soloist at the Barbican and the National Opera House, Wexford. He is experienced in singing the role of evangelist in J.S. Bach’s passions, and in 2023 undertook the role of evangelist, soloist and chorus member, making up a vocal quartet in two performances of J.S. Bach’s Johannespassion (1725) in Copenhagen with HemiDemiSemi Consort. As a consort singer, Edward has worked with some of the foremost ensembles in the UK, including: The Tallis Scholars, Alamire, Dunedin Consort and Tenebrae. Edward has also performed extensively on the continent with groups such as: Edvard Grieg Vokalensemble, DR VokalEnsemblet and Theatre of Voices. Edward is a regular member of The Marian Consort and recently departed his position as a member of Chamber Choir Ireland.
